Musical version of Cher's 'Mask' a disaster (Contra Costa Times)

"Mask" is a work of such soggy blandness that it makes the boy and the film that were its inspirations seem positively cutting edge. Who knew bikers, pill poppers, amazing teens and their unfriendly high-school classmates could be so dull?
